Hey, I’m Amber! I’m a born and raised Washingtonian, photographing couples in the Seattle area. When I’m not busy with photography, I work in special education with incredible children. In my free time, you can find me with my husband Grant and my Dalmatian pup Domino on family walks, snowboarding or hiking in the mountains, playing board games, or booking our next trip to Hawaii!
I’ve always loved taking pictures. My grandma used to always bring us disposable cameras, and as I got older, every gift from my grandpa was always a digital camera. Ever since I was little, photos have been a passion of mine and I’m so excited to work with families and couples documenting important milestones for them.
The name Salty Wave Photography was inspired by my husband. He was born in California and is a true beach bum at heart, and likes my curly hair after I've been in the salty ocean! We might live in rainy Washington State, but we love traveling back to California as much as we can to get our beach fix in, and of course to go to Disneyland!
My photography style is clean, timeless, and true to color. I want your photos to still look good hanging on your wall a decade from now, not to go out of style as soon as the next photography trend comes along!
